Dairy CIP

Problem:

This particular CIP area contained old brick pavers that were failing. The harsh chemicals had deteriorated the grout and pavers enough that the chemicals were leaking outside the building. Previous attempts to coat over the pavers failed.

Solution:

First removed all of the old pavers by jackhammer. Installed a quick setting concrete blend that allows coatings to be applied 12 hours later. We wanted to re-slope the area and bring the surface to within ½” of flush. We then diamond ground, flushed and dried the surface. Applied Indu-Crete™.
