Cookie Manufacturing
Problem:
This was a brand new addition to a cookie manufacturing facility. They needed a surface that can handle washdown and forklift traffic. The coating needed to be non-skid and yet easy to clean.
Solution:
Indue installed a Double Coat application of our Indu-Poxy™ 100P using 45-55 as the aggregate. The surface was shotblasted and diamond ground to prep the area. This allows the epoxy to soak INTO the concrete for maximum adhesion. A primer coat is applied over bare concrete for better adhesion and to prevent blistering. The next day 40mil coat of Indu-Poxy™ 100P is applied and, while still wet, a saturation broadcast of 45-55 aggregate is applied. This is allowed to cure overnight, the excess aggregate is brushed off the next day and another coat of Indu-Poxy™ 100P is applied.
